This project is the result of experimentations on metal pieces cut with a laser and associated to linear fiber carbon stripes. The researches were mainly focused on producing graphical structures that would be ultra light but particularly resistant. These micro architectures are only formed by the softness of the carbon fibers, sealed by aluminium inserts cut with laser. Weighing about 50 grammes, these baskets can easily carry heavy objects.
Broom Brothers by ECAL/HYUNJEE JUNG
Broom brothers is a range of products used in the daily life that are realized as esthetical pieces, between the ancestral tool and the modern object. From natural materials and crafts and traditional technics, I wanted to design simple but still useful objects with a very specific aesthetic that allows the user to exhibit them at home.
