Studio project, ECAL 2017
in BACHELOR MEDIA & INTERACTION DESIGN
Teacher(s): Alain Bellet, Cyril Diagne
2 interactive installations created by 3rd year Media & Interaction Design students will be exhibited in 2 different venues of the KIKK festival in Namur (Belgium) this year.
Commissioned by the festival, the installations address the festival’s theme of “Invisible Narrative” through 2 iconic items: drones and surveillance cameras.
More and more of our actions are recorded. Where is the line between service, surveillance and voyeurism?
“Peek” is a modular installation that invites the visitors to explore these limits by simply putting the camera of their phones inside the structure and taking a peek.
Project developed by 3rd year Media & Interaction Design students of ECAL (University of Arts and Design, Lausanne), under the supervision of Alain Bellet & Cyril Diagne, assisted by Tibor Udvari.
