Admissions to our Master's degree program is done through a competitive evaluation, which assesses the artistic and creative abilities of the candidates.

º Bachelor's degree holders from another field, who can justify an extensive experience in type design are invited to contact ECAL's secretariat by email inscription@ecal.ch before March 2nd 2026.
Prerequisite : basic knowledge in programming and/or experience in interactive design, web design, or app design.
º BA Graduates HES, HEU, or EPF in another field who possess a strong experience in the digital sector are invited to contact ECAL’s secretariat inscription@ecal.ch until March 2nd 2026.

Group projects may be included but cannot be the main part of your portfolio (please clearly indicate your role in the making of the project).
The master’s admissions process based on an application file (ASD-M) gives candidates without an undergraduate degree (or equivalent) the opportunity to enroll in a master’s programme at a University of applied sciences (HES).
