28 ECAL graduates shortlisted for the 2025 Swiss Design Awards

ECAL is delighted to announce that 28 of its graduates are among the finalists for the 2025 Swiss Design Awards, a prestigious distinction awarded by the Federal Office of Culture. This selection is further testament to the quality and diversity of the talent trained at the university.
The finalists include well-known names from the art and design scene as well as recent graduates:
Design research
Graphic Design
Product Design
Photography
Media and Interaction Design
Mediation and scenography
This wide range of disciplines reflects ECAL's cross-disciplinary approach, where creative excellence is expressed both individually and in collaborative and interdisciplinary projects, such as those of Herding Wool and Akuto Studio.
The final winners of the Swiss Design Awards will be announced at the official ceremony, organised alongside Art Basel next June. In the meantime, ECAL warmly congratulates its graduates on this wonderful recognition.
