Congratulations to Nicolas Le Moigne, head of the MAS in Design for Luxury & Craftsmanship at ECAL, for winning the Design Preiz Schweiz 2025 in the In Between category.
Recognized in the category In Between, Nicolas Le Moigne wins the Swiss Design Award for his modular construction system Grid.
Grid is a modular construction system made of stackable glass bricks. Reliefs, cavities, and plug-in modules enable spatial structures ranging from walls to objects. The work moves between architecture and product design, opening new applications for glass as a structural element.
The very first installation designed and built using 4,000 stackable Grid glass bricks was presented in the exhibition Glass Reflections by Nouvel, held at ECAL in spring 2025.
