ECAL presents U.F.O.G.O. at the Vitra Design Museum as part of its exhibition Transform! Designing the Future of Energy, which focuses on the key role of design in the current transition to renewable energy.
Energy is the main driving force of our society; energy is political, energy is invisible, energy is omnipresent. The exhibition Transform! Designing the Future of Energy, presented by Vitra Design Museum, shines a light on the transformation of the energy sector from the perspective of design: from everyday products that use renewable energy to the design of solar houses and wind power stations; from smart mobility systems to futuristic visions of self-sufficient cities.
With U.F.O.G.O, ECAL will be presenting its visionary ideas for future energy production, with models of wind turbines designed by Master of Product Design students for the Canadian island of Fogo.
