Bachelor Industrial Design offers with Layback a space that is both enchanting and soothing, as part of the excitement of the Swiss Design Awards 2024.
Designed by two ECAL Bachelor Industrial Design students, Layback is an installation made from old hot-air balloon textiles from Château d'Oex, the 'hot-air balloon capital' of Switzerland. This unique creation offers a peaceful retreat during the hustle and bustle of Art Basel. Visitors are enveloped in a tranquil environment that invites them to reflect on their experience of visiting art and design exhibitions.
