ECAL is pleased to announce its participation in the AGI Open 2024 with a special edition of its Lott of Prints graphic lottery. This unique event, initially created as a convivial occasion to encourage exchanges between students in the graphic design department, has rapidly developed into a high point of conviviality and creativity.
Lott of Prints was born of a week-long workshop led by Guy Meldem , where a class was invited to design decorated, offset-printed lotto grids. At the end of the week, an original lotto took place, with prestigious graphic objects - posters, books, fanzines - as prizes for the winners. The enthusiasm generated by this initiative gave birth to this playful and artistic concept.
This year, the AGI Open, a conference proposed by members of Alliance Graphique Internationale, will be held in Basel on October 3 and 4. The organizing committee, seduced by the Lott of Prints concept, asked the ECAL to organize the first extramural edition of this event.
On October 4 at 6.30pm, join us at the Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst Basel (HGK) to try your luck at this new edition. The event will be hosted by a team of ECAL students and will feature exceptional prizes donated by AGI Suisse members, ECAL and several partner studios. Three to four lotto rounds are scheduled before the AGI Open closing party.
