My diploma project is an intimate edition in which my grandmother, Maguy, aged 88, is the main subject photographed. She represents older women whose ornaments as well as sexual urges and the desire to please are intact. The subject is as delicate as it is impressive and remains perceived by the spectator as either apprehension or admiration. Do we still have sexual desires and the wish to seduce despite a body transformed by time? If so, is it still possible to satisfy these needs? This work allowed my grandmother and myself to play between modesty and voyeurism and between authenticity and role-playing.
