Reflecting cyberculture, voyeurism, and show business, “Ryokuhi Club” explores the human condition in the context of virtual reality. Proposing a multilayered fantasy, the work investigates questions of interpersonal relationships and identity, displaying alterations to ordinary life and urban culture.Combining narrations and imagery through weblinks, “Ryokuhi Club” ultimately suggests a world infused by a digital spirit, starring a sluggish anime-like couple alongside a range of more or less “loquacious” individuals.
