“When doomed to death, I will attend you like a nocturnal fury. I will attack your faces and brooding up your restless breasts, I will deprive you of repose by terror.” Horace Whispers is the imaging of my sleep paralysis. Nightmares I experienced in an awakened state, these nocturnal anxieties threw me in a transitional state between wakefulness and sleep, exposing my mind to terrifying hallucinations. I have transcribed these dreams through disturbing photographs, portraits with a lingering presence and tormented landscapes. This work is part of my imagination turned into reality.
