Congratulations to Sasha Iatsenia, a Bachelor Media & Interaction Design graduate, and Lirjeta Maxhuni, a Bachelor Industrial Design graduate, awarded by FIT Impact 2026.
In a context where sustainable development and related issues have become paramount, the Foundation for Technological Innovation (FIT) is committed to supporting innovative ideas that contribute to a better future for future generations.
The FIT Impact programme is aimed at young projects active in impact entrepreneurship. Deployed in collaboration with Vaud's universities and Hautes Ecoles, this programme allocates grants between CHF 10,000 and 20,000 to projects with a strong social and environmental impact.
Sasha Iatsenia , a Bachelor Media & Interaction Design graduate, was awarded the FIT Impact Grand Prix as well as the Jury’s Choice Award. In his diploma project entitled LittleCubes, he developed a cognitive training platform designed for children with autism. This tool helps them become more independent in everyday activities, from brushing their teeth to getting dressed.
Lirjeta Maxhuni, a Bachelor Industrial Design graduate, won the People’s Choice Award Award for developing a medical gown specifically designed for gynecological exams. In her diploma project entitled Gynecare+, she created a garment that reveals only what is necessary, minimizing the need to undress completely and reducing the stress associated with these appointments.
