From 6 July to 24 September 2023, Latent*, the exhibition by Mélanie Fontaine, winner of the Plateforme 10 x ECAL Prize, can be seen in the arcades of Plateforme 10.
The Plateforme 10 x ECAL Prize is awarded each year to a student graduating from ECAL's Bachelor Media & Interaction Design programme in 2022, who has distinguished himself/herself through a forward-looking and poetic use of new technologies. The winning work is presented in the form of an exhibition by Plateforme 10 in its temporary exhibition space "Les arcades".
Data manipulation in Californian tech holds no secrets for Mélanie Fontaine , graduate of ECAL's Bachelor Media & Interaction design programme. With Latent*, she has created an app that transforms our chats with friends into a film or theatre dialogue, taking us from surprise to surprise.
