From November 23 to December 10, Ferme des Tilleuls hosts "Praxis", an exhibition by Till Seegräber and Gabriela Jaime, winners of the City of Renens 2023 Encouragement Prize.
The City of Renens 2023 Encouragement Prize was awarded to two ECAL students, Till Seegräber (Bachelor Industrial Design) and Gabriela Jaime (Master Type Design). In the wake of this encounter, they have created "Praxis", an innovative collection of design objects that evoke simplicity.
In an increasingly multi-faceted world that adapts to our individual needs, this exhibition invites us to reflect on the essence of objects. In so doing, it offers a counterpoint to the complexification that prevails in the field of design.
By breaking down the elements of our environment, the designers have arrived at refined building blocks that can be used to design a wide range of objects. Gabriela Jaime and Till Seegräber present a series of abstract works exploring the ideas of prefabrication, grids and systems.
