For the latest issue of «zweikommasieben», Lehmann designed the magazine and developed a typeface. The scotch modern style typeface is designed with very strict parameters: equalised, rhythmified spaces inside and in-between the letters, unit-based letter-widths and kerning values and an aggressive slanting angle amplifying the rather historic typeface with a synthesized, electronic flavour. The design of the Magazine ultimately became a reflection of pausing as in deceleration and acceleration. In this attempt to give form to time, there’s also the primordial-musical moment.
