Arboricrop — Next generation agriculture using real-time information from tree crops

Arboricrop is a research project conducted by a multidisciplinary consortium bringing together Vivent Biosignals, Changins – University of Viticulture and Oenology, and ECAL/Ecole cantonale d’art de Lausanne (HES-SO), with the support of Innosuisse. Its objective is to develop a miniaturized plant electrophysiology sensor designed for use in real agricultural conditions: the VITA Mini Sensor.

Richard Authier. Design and industry in Northern Vaud

The project aims to shed light on the career of Richard Authier (Lausanne, 1925–2018), who was an industrial designer at Hermes Paillard International in Yverdon-les-Bains and a pioneer of industrial design in French-speaking Switzerland.

As part of the DemSCAPE-VD research project, conducted jointly by 4 schools from HES-SO (University of Applied Sciences and Arts Western Switzerland) in collaboration with the municipalities of Bussigny and Yverdon-les-Bains, ECAL was commissioned to develop a different photography exhibition for each municipality.
