From November 4th to 13th, the Geneva International Film Festival - GIFF offers films, series, interactive installations and works in virtual reality. On the occasion of the 28th edition and as part of its Virtual Territories program, Bachelor Media & Interaction Design students present 3 VR projects in total immersion.
La Page Blanche by Elina Crespi and Martino De Grandis: immersion in a house of the 70s, within a virtual architecture on the experience of drawing, where the sketch comes to life and interacts with the viewer.
Incident by Julien Caulet and Paul Dorsaz: a VR project that takes viewers into the heart of a 1987 scandal in the United States, the Max Headroom incident, or one of the stories of piracy that shook the showbiz world. A 3D experience with unpleasant sensations, almost anxiety-inducing.
Disparaître by Marine Dang and Jamy Herrmann: a real dive into a contemplative journey between memory and destruction, this VR experience explores climate concerns, questioning action and inaction.
