Recently pharmacists have proven the possibility of additive technologies to produce personalised tablets with high precision dosage. In the future, tablets (“imprimés”) can be produced in your local pharmacy. Software generates your “imprimés” according to your personal clinical data requirements (dosage, release profile and number of active substances), which are then 3D printed. Each pill is custom-made in a unique shape. Welcome to pharmacy 4.0.
