Womb

Jeanne Tullen – Womb

Womb is a phantasised work in which two different times and stories merge in  order to become one. It is the testimony of a long gone past that I desperately  try to relive and to transform. A past that recalls a carnal desire which haunts  me, a will to exist inside the loved one. Womb appeared as an obvious choice,  as an opportunity to work under the spell of obsession and intuition.

DRIVE For this week’s theme, “Drive,” first-year photography students were asked to create a portrait shot on medium-format film. Inspired by the sensation of a first driving experience, travel, empowerment, or discovery, the week aimed to explore the relationship between one or more people and a vehicle.
