« From freak shows to the invention of hysteria in the 19th century, the figure of the monster is created through images. The staging of abnormality reinforces the norm to which it is opposed. By means of self-representation, I seek to create a monstrosity out of the banal, turning my body into malleable and fragmented material. Inspired by the sensation of a first driving experience, travel, empowerment, or discovery, the week aimed to explore the relationship between one or more people and a vehicle.
