La noyée is the brutal and unexpected encounter of a teenage runaway with his mother, whom he has not seen for a long time. A brief and beautiful encounter in a deserted seaside resort, during which the characters search for each other, tear each other apart, and tame each other in silence and with a stripped lyricism.
