Synopsis

West Lausanne – 2020. A Grindr encounter sees two men meet in an apartment, leading to unusual nocturnal reflections on youth and love.

Comment

I designed the film’s tones in relation to a cinematic period that is dear to me, in line with Christopher Doyle and Jean-Yves Escoffier. The film is dark and somewhat expressionist. Nowadays, if you use digitally assisted workflows, cinema photography can quickly become bland, which is why I was not afraid to play with the limits of the camera.
