Sensitive Binaries

Manon Vouga – Sensitive Binaries

The concept of quality of life is used to measure the well-being of the population. It consists of nine interdependent dimensions, relating to material living conditions as well as to the subjective notion of quality of life. This first print edition highlights each dimension by illustrating them through these different indicators, thereby providing information and points of comparison between each partner cities in the form of data series covering most aspects relating to living conditions.

Conducted under the direction of the City Statistics study of the Swiss Federal Office of Statistics, this project invites you to an intangible journey through the cities of Basel, Bern, Geneva, Lausanne, Lucerne, Lugano, St Gallen, Winterthur and Zurich.
