Synopsis

Laurence, a Parisian in her fifties, is spending a few days in an isolated holiday cottage in the Lozère, in southern France. She has really come here to meet Antoine, 27, the owner of the property and to give him a letter. As they try to get to know each another, a strange atmosphere develops between the two of them. Laurence finds it really difficult to give him the envelope and reveal what is inside.

During my two years of study, I learned the skills necessary to become a professional film editor (AVID editing software, sound collaboration, colour grading). Workshop after workshop, I learned from my teachers and classmates how to think like a professional film editor: how to convey the emotions of the audience; when to slow down the pace and when to speed it up; what shots to select; how to communicate with the director to help them make the film they want, as it was the case with Marie Chemin.
