Florentina Walser – Don’t touch my car!!! & You’re so hilarious, next time the circus comes to town I’ll sell you as a clown

There is quite some ambiguity between real PORTRAIT ideation and imaginative/role play, almost dress-up-play – dressing up IN THE BROADEST SENSE OF THE TERM, the idea of looking at oneself from an outside perspective. It makes me wonder, who or what it actually is, that is being COMPOSED here: is it really the ORDER OF THINGS (or a social, political, visual, formal, physical, scientific VERSION OF imitation), as could be easily concluded? Is it a proxy-pleasure for someone – or rather for something – else? Or is the desire to imagine itself a proxy emotion/activity…?
What follows is a perfectly choreographed ballet of violence, because as we know, to talk about Camp is to betray it. And this we must respect!
