Synopsis

Clara is a sixteen-year-old girl who lives alone with her mother in a small isolated house in the forest. They have an archaic way of life, and live in an unidentified but seemingly distant era. Clara is full of vitality, but her mother is a vampirizing woman who prevents her from breaking free. Her mother's depression creates a co- dependent relationship that fills Clara with guilt. However, an encounter with a mysterious boy in the forest turns Clara's daily life upside down and reinforces her desire for transgression.
