SKRÅ - Mind in Finland

Mattias Koskinen – SKRÅ - Mind in Finland

SKRÅ is a clothing brand that draws its inspiration directly from Finland. Designed to reveal what others may not perceive, it opens new paths for exploration. The term Skrå comes from the Swedish language means something oblique or inclined. This first pre-capsule collection, "Mind in Finland", aims to showcase the very essence of the brand. The collection sets aside conventional codes to present a new perspective. It embraces opacity, textures, organic silhouettes, and elongated forms, elements that emerge when landscapes are immersed in light and the shadows it creates. These are the principles that run throughout this work, shaping both the identity and the common thread of the collection.

Dynamic Identity - 2026

with Angelo Benedetto

First-year students designed visual identities for fictional museums. As part of the Dynamic Display course led by Angelo Benedetto, this project led them to create graphic universes that that express the character of each imaginary exhibition site.

Candice Aepli – Brindille et Azilise

by Candice Aepli

Brindille et Azilise invite you to imagine children's space differently, by offering a lively, playful universe in their bedrooms. Here, the story is not read between the pages, but lies on the floor and climbs up the windows. It slips under an arm. It tucks in dreams. It's a whole world at children's level, where ecosystems come to life through furniture, transforming everyday life into a playground for exploration. Le jardin, collection no. 1 The gardener has slipped seeds into the soil, the bright sun warms the petals, the mouse nibbles on the sly, and in this corner full of life, everyone is busy and smiling.

“Traces” is a collection of paintbrushes made out of rattan and horsehair. The idea behind this research was to experiment with the tools. Movement, the design of the handle and the hair position influenced the result. The first tests on paper led to experiments on fabric, resulting in a series of painted textiles whose patterns stem directly from the brushstrokes. This project enabled me to immerse myself into two ancestral crafts, wickerwork and paintbrush manufacturing, which I was then able to merge to create a collection between art and design.

Visual Identity - “?” - BA1 S2 2025-2026

Last year, the Marché du Temple, an iconic grocery store located in front of ECAL, closed its doors, leaving behind precious memories and a warm atmosphere that had enlivened the neighborhood for decades. This semester, students had the opportunity to reinvent this space by designing a complete visual identity for a new fictional business. Their work resulted in a poster and its animated version, a booklet, and a proposal for a new storefront. To celebrate the end of the semester, an exhibition was organized in the former premises of the Marché du Temple.
