How to film certain scouting rituals? How to frame a group of children? How to get closer to the natural light in the mountains? Raphaël Dubach, student cinematographer, and the young director Aude Sublet answer these questions. Together they have found the right distance to look at, forming an almost organic duo.
Like wolves is filmed with grace and fluidity, mainly with a handheld camera, in sumptuous yet never illustrative settings. Between the darkness of the night games and the whiteness of the day, the love desire of the adult scouts oscillates, under the inquisitive and amused gaze of the "little wolves".
