Two young women live together in a brothel. The camera captures their daily life in their hours away from work.
Studio project (2012) by Myriam Rachmuth
Documentary / 22min
Two young women live together in a brothel, between arguments and tenderness. Invited into their intimacy, the camera captures their daily life behind closed doors, where hope is their only breathable substance in this strange heavy atmosphere.
Cinema as an answer to voyeurism and moralization, as the art of taking a position in space, of observing and doing justice to the people we film. The result speaks for itself: we will not soon forget these two girls whose race across Europe once crossed Myriam's.
