Robin Kaufmann – Sous ma peau
One evening, Gabriel throws a party with his friends to celebrate the conviction of the man who abused him as a child. With Lucien by his side, he turns the party into a flirty dance floor in an attempt to escape his past. Caught between Lucien's gentleness and his own need for desire, Gabriel unwittingly reenacts the confusion between affection and control. Over the course of a single night, Under My Skin explores the intimate repercussions of sexual violence and how it shapes emotional relationships. Through the relationship between Gabriel and Lucien, the film follows a character who can only conceive of his relationships with men through desire, and is confronted with a kind of intimacy he no longer recognizes.- Students
