The Swiss Design Competition was established in 1918 and is organised annually by the Federal Office of Culture. It aims to promote the reputation and diversity of Swiss design and recognise outstanding achievements. Participants not only compete for an award, but also for the opportunity to present their work in the Swiss Design Awards exhibition. In the international context of Art Basel and Design Miami/Basel, the 51 finalists’ projects — Swiss design in all its facets — will be on show.
