Invisible Narratives - KIKK Festival

Invisible Narratives - KIKK Festival

Two interactive installations created by third-year Media & Interaction Design students were exhibited in two different venues of the KIKK festival in Namur (Belgium) this year.

Commissioned by the festival, the installations address the festival’s theme of “Invisible Narrative” through two iconic items: drones and surveillance cameras.

Peek

More and more of our actions are recorded. Where is the line between service, surveillance and voyeurism?

“Peek” is a modular installation that invites the visitors to explore these limits by simply putting the camera of their phones inside the structure and taking a peek.

Faux bourdon

Playful, useful or invasive? The drones are everywhere.

“Faux bourdon” plays with the perception of the visitors and propose an installation stimulating a reflexive approach around the topic of surveillance.
