The first festival dedicated to artistic creation in augmented realitý and immersive cultural innovations. Palais Augmenté returns for a third edition with the themes of the avatar, virtual bodies and their relationship to physical, political and social bodies. This festival, initiated by Fisheye and the Rmn - Grand-Palais, aims to draw up an inventory of technological innovations linked to culture.
Fantastic Smartphones takes part in the festival with a serie of interactive installations developed by the Bachelor Media & Interaction Design students of ECAL/Ecole cantonale d'art de Lausanne, investigating in a critical and offbeat way our relationship with our smartphones and the way they influence our daily behaviour.

For this 3rd edition, the Palais Augmenté festival is honouring three artists presenting original works created especially for the occasion: Liu Bolin, Lu Yang, Tobias Gremmler and Salomé Chatriot.
With a Bachelor's degree in Media & Interaction Design and a Master's in Fine Arts from the ECAL, Salomé Chatriot
presents a series of physical sculptures from which virtual bubbles emerge. These bubbles, whose aesthetic is reminiscent of the artist's trademark work, carry one of Salomé Chatriot's breaths, taken from her performances.
