The series of books “Visual Archives” is the result of research projects initiated and carried out at ECAL/University of Art and Design Lausanne. It examines unexplored legacies of designers, authors and brands. Documents and visual material from archives are accompanied and contextualised by critical essays.
Thus far, two volumes from this series ("Hermann Eidenbenz. Teaching Graphic Design" + "Bobst Graphic 1972–1981") have been co-published by Triest Verlag and ECAL, and they will be presented jointly by their editors.
